Francis
So, today instead of using the better computer, Charlie, I was using Francis. My mum said she was going to be doing her editing all day, and she does the editing on Charlie. Quite naturally, as with everytime that she warns she'll need to the computer at a specified time, she wasn't using the computer at that time, she wasn't even bloody home most of the day.
On Francis, meanwhile, something has gone weird with the image files, their icons have all changed and I can't open them with the regular Image Viewer program. After an hour of trying to fix it I finally got fed up and left, restarting Francis and sitting down at Charlie to write this. And now, I have come to a conclusion. Francis is entirely too old and needs to be replaced or upgraded. Of course if my family heard me say that they would say, "Well the computer is younger than you, do you need to be replaced?" to which I wish I could reply, "Burn in hell you self-centered hypocritical bastard!" but never do say that.

I hate it when parents say that. Our computer is dying and my dad has to decide whether or not to replace it, which he probably will because otherwise everyone will fight even more over the nice computer, And it's outliving the computer that "Is younger than you are, but not by much" (my dad, naturally) and which I'm supposed to use but can't run programs properly anymore.
Hey, good luck with your homework.
That's actually quite a funny comment. Machine and human perceptions of time differ. But can machines perceive time? They have an exact clock on the tool bar, but that's our time, not its time. But computers do age so in a non thinking way..what am i saying? That makes no sense.
I shall go off and be useful now (die calm, die)
